origin story

art, for me, began with the messes i made at home. I always remember my mom and dad supporting me with my creative choices. my dad, coming from an engineering background, knew how to build and work with his hands. my mom, excellent with a needle and thread, would make my brother and me clever and fun costumes for Halloween. even to this day they are still my biggest supporters. they instilled in me a sense of creativity that feeds into every aspect of my life.

Company time

Melting Miltons was launched in 2013 with my success of creating Melted crayon art. Hence the name Melting Miltons. our first introduction into the community came at the annual art in the park in richland, washington.

MY INSPIRATION FOR MY WORK ARE PEOPLE. There are a few who inspire me more often than others. It’s not what they do BUT ABOUT who they are AND the connection I have with them. That connection opens me up as a person and IGNITES MY PASSIONS, ITS AN EMOTIONAL HIGH THAT ALLOWS ME TO WORK.

MY WORK WAS GETTING RECOGNITION AND MY STYLE WAS BECOMING KNOWN. I WAS SHIPPING WORK FROM AS FAR AWAY AS NEW YORK AND UP INTO CANADA. I BEGAN GETTING REQUESTS FROM ARTS ORGANIZATIONS FOR FUNDRAISERS AND. AT THE END OF 2018 A FUNDRAISER TOOK ME TO SEATTLE WHERE I WAS A FEATURED LIVE PAINTING ARTIST.. THE PAINTING OF ruth bader ginsburg I DID THAT NIGHT HELPED TO RAISE MONEY FOR FUTURE SCHOLARS OF THE WORLD.
